Pennsport Civic Association
 

Mission

To improve the standard of living and quality of life in Pennsport through the following efforts:

  • Promote home ownership

  • Monitor zoning and represent Pennsport before the City of Philadelphia’s zoning and development boards, including but not limited to the Zoning Board of Adjustment (“ZBA”)

  • Partner with neighbors, local businesses, community groups, elected officials, and nearby RCOs to improve the neighborhood and contribute to making Pennsport a safe place to live, learn, work, and play

  • Encourage business development that meets residents’ needs and wishes

  • Mobilize volunteers to beautify Pennsport

  • Promote and support recreational and educational activities


Board of Directors

Pennsport Civic’s 11-member Board of Directors is elected for a term of two years. Elections are held the second Wednesday in May of odd-numbered calendar years.

Following Board elections on May 14, 2025, a new Board will officially form in June 2025. Until then, the current Board includes the following neighbors:
